How a Thane components manufacturer replaced trade-portal leads with its own pipeline
Precision components manufacturer, Wagle Estate
Headline result
4.2× — increase in direct RFQs per month, over 9 months.
The situation
The company was spending over ₹3 lakh a year on trade portal listings and receiving enquiries it shared with four competitors. Its own website was a five-page brochure that ranked for nothing, and buyers who did land on it could not find specifications without emailing.
What we did
- Rebuilt the site around product families rather than company departments, with downloadable specification sheets on every page
- Published capability content targeting the exact component and material searches buyers use
- Built an RFQ form that captured drawing uploads and routed straight to the estimation team
- Optimised the Google Business Profile for the plant location and added service-area pages for the MMR industrial belt
Results
- Direct RFQ volume grew 4.2× within nine months
- Trade portal spend reduced by two-thirds without losing enquiry volume
- Average quotation turnaround fell from four days to under one
- 38 product pages ranking on the first page for buyer-intent searches
For the first time the enquiries are ours alone. We are quoting against a specification, not against three other people who got the same lead.
